After 1st direct regular saver

I find that it make life easier if you have set up an everyday E saver with them as well as the regular saver - then they just send the capital and interest from the maturing regular saver to the e account and you can transfer it out through your current account immediately.0

They'll set up a new Savings Account if you don't have an Everyday e-Saver or Savings Account already.
But probably not on a weekend.
If you need your money urgently, you could perhaps give them a call?0 -

Did you try calling them? They'll know the answers. Or you could read their FAQ?0 -
If you can simply open another account, straight after, at the 6% rate, why don't they just have a fixed savings account at 6% but which you can only access once/ year or something?0

My regular saver matured yesterday and I transferred the funds from there to my 1st account. I then opened another regular saver and it took the first instalment. As a consequence I had two regular savers showing with the original having a zero balance when I looked this morning.
This isn't how it has worked in previous years but it's an improvement.0 -
Just checked my accounts today and the regular saver funds have been transferred to the E-saver that was already there.
The regular saver is still there though with a zero balance?I Hate Jobsworths!!!0
