I have ASU type insurance taken out with my mortgage. I'm now nearly at the point of having my mortgage paid off, so want to review it and see what other options are out there.
I don't have dependents, my companies sickness benefits are basic, and job security is potentially a bit of an issue in the future, although ok at the moment.
So I'm looking at income protection rather than critical illness cover.
Where do I start, how do I track down a decent broker? There's probably so many different factors, I want to make sure I get the right product for me.

All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

its mainly an IFA distributed product. So, any local IFA would be fine. There's probably so many different factors, I want to make sure I get the right product for me.
They are very different. You could largely put them into three categories of budget, standard and comprehensive. Although that is not an official classification. Just a looking at them.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0
