DRP letters after nearly 2 years

Options
Hi there
I got a parking notice in May 2013 for stopping on the road on private land near Doncaster airport. I read all the posts at that time and the advice was to ignore them
My last letter was from Roxburghe in October 2013 and then they stopped which was great
I have after nearly 2 yeasts received letters from DRP 2nd July and 17th July 1 stating demand for payment the other notice of intended court action
From 2013 is it still wise to ignore or should I be doing something else, any suggestions would help, looked on the newbie site but they are for recent tickets, mine is from 2013
Thanks

Debt collectors can do nothing other than try to frighten you in to paying, they may recommend this that or the other but cannot issue small claims in their own name, only the PPC can. If they had any chance of winning in court dont you think you would have been there by now? They do not want to put this scam in front of a judge. Carry on ignoring, NEVER PHONE OR CONTACT a debt collector.
  • Thank you, I got a little confused thinking I had to reply to get a popla code? So just ignore?

Yes just ignore, keep DRP letters just incase you run out of toilet paper.
PPCs say its carpark management, BPA say its raising standards..... we all know its just about raking in the revenue.
  • Ha thanks, scary letters but will ignore, I really feel the DVLA should not by law be able to give out your details to these people and especially for £2.75 what a joke, for them to be able to scare and intimidate people

£2.75? Nah, they're not out to screw PPC world, especially as they are doing such a good job in ensuring car parks don't suffer parking anarchy.

    Try £2.50!
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
