Baxi boilers?

Hi, I'm in the process of replacing my old boiler. I've had several different people round to give me quotes and although I've mentioned Worcester and Valiant boilers, each of them have recommended I install a baxi duo-tech boiler. The fact that all suggested the same boiler, and all said they had a baxi themselves made me think its probably a good boiler BUT online reviews are very mixed. Any thoughts/experiences? Thanks

its as good as any of the other makes out there, good warranty and a stainless steel heat exchanger not aluminium means you should get a longer lifespan from it than a Worcester. Vaillant are slightly better but slightly more expensive. Most importantly get a good quality installer you trust, fit a magnetic system filter to get rid of all the old crap and sludge in the system and make sure you get it serviced every year or the warranty on any boiler isn't worth anything as all the manufacturers only stand by warranties on serviced boilers0

I've got a duo-tec 40 and it's been excellent. Gives a great shower.0
