PPI Claim - Old loans and no details

I am starting to think maybe I should give this PPI claim lark a try. I have had very few loans in my life (I guess I am lucky that I have not needed to). Problem is though, some of these were about 15 - 20 years ago. I think one was with Lloyds, and we had a car loan from a local dealer (who has gone now). In both cases they are paid off, and paperwork long shredded.

Is there anyway I can find out who these loans were with, then pursue a claim (if indeed a claim is valid).

Thanks

Nerdio

Your option is to send a SAR and £10 to LLoyds to see if here is any info left. If not, your complaint is over.
Car dealers weren't regulated until January 2005 so if it was sold before this, your complaint is over also.
