I only drive when on hols, hire car. Pay and Display fell off windscreen at Sennen. £100 (or £60 if paid early) demanded. Unfortunately I did appeal with my name/address before seeing the huge amount of info here. Now I have by post their denial of my appeal, plus photos of the car park signs. My appeal was, in their words, 'good faith' as my photos showed clearly that I had paid. They want my money. I'd pay happily if I was at fault, but I'd paid, displayed, but the sticky back of the label failed and the thing fell into the car footwell. Advice welcome, and thanks in advance.

They would have a mountain to climb if they took this to court. You have paid, their losses are minimal.
Did their ticket account for v.a.t., it should.

Letter now 'your file will be passed into the hands of our legal department. Please be advised...unless...payment in full within the next 14 days the matter will be referred to Debt Recovery Agents or the County Court'. Nice that someone has actually signed the letter, (indecipherable scrawl), but name not printed underneath.0

Standard procedure. Their legal team can only deal when not making the rest of the office coffee. All covered in Newbies thread.

Now it's 'Notice of Intention to Advise Client to Issue Summons' or else...court order, seize assets, seek an order, obtain a court order, declare me bankrupt.
Thanks to the knowledgeable on here I have grown a pair and am ignoring. That's still right though, eh?0 -

Now TNC are making phone calls (screened) asking to speak to me 'urgently'- 18 months after the parking thing. Advice welcome. Thanks in advance.0
