i have a little while to go be fore renewed but it will be 5 years since the last accident i had with me taking a portion of the blame (stupid insurance accepted the blame for me). now the accident happened in May and my renewal is in March.
Do i still have to declare this in the comparison websites and also when i get quotes from insurers?

As May is two months after March you will have to declare as it won't be five years.
However Aviva only ask for accidents in the previous 4 years so try them too.0 -
I think Admiral group (includes Elephant etc.) only ask for previous 3 years.0

sheilas wheels only ask for four if thats any helpWhat goes around-comes around0

Direct Line also only ask about accidents/claims in the last 3 years.
However if you're asked if you've had any accidents or claims within the last 5 years you must declare it, because 4 years and 10 months ago is within the last 5 years.0
