TSB Classic Switch with £100

Can anyone help. I have been told I am not eligible as I opened my account on 18th May and switched on 10th June. That as I opened the account before the £100 deal then switched when the deal was advertised on this website Its classed as an "old" account. I feel this is unfair as I only switched 3 weeks after opening...

The offer only applies to the TSB Classic Plus account, and you are only allowed 1 sole and one in joint names. So it may not be as simple as just opening another account.Open a new account now & switch to that one?
The terms are very clear - you must open an account during the offer period. You didn't, therefore you do not qualify for the offer. It may be gutting, but there is nothing unfair about it.Can anyone help. I have been told I am not eligible as I opened my account on 18th May and switched on 10th June. May be take some solace in the fact that tens of thousands of other existing TSB Plus account holders did also not qualify for the offer.0 -

That might work. You got to be rather quick though as the new account must be opened by the 31st.0
