BTW. I'm looking to get rid of the old toaster.
Does anyone have a Polo mallet I could borrow?

We have experienced similar problems with green Warbies loaves ... I got to the point of mocking up the size of a slice of green Warbies bread in cardboard and taking that to the shops to find a toaster to handle it!
eta. Marley has just looked, and ours is the George 4-slice long-slot

So, Breville make a toaster designed to take Warburtons bread, it's a lovely looking toaster but it's polished stainless steel, in this house you've only got to look at it and it would be covered in fingerprints !***Dont save what is left after spending, spend what is left after saving***0

There must be 2 toaster based threads going I said on the other one we bought one of these Brevilles for £8.64 last week with a 25p Warburtons voucher for crumpets or bread. Looks good ( no small people with sticky fingers here) and does a good job.0
