New laptop-how to remove bloatware?

Hi I'm about to get a new cheap laptop (HP 255 G3) & I think it comes with a load of bloatware. What's the best way to remove what I don't need? (I don't know what I don't need!, sounding like Donald Rumsfeld now....)
Is there a programme that I can run that will do it? Unfortunately I am not very technically minded, but have moderate knowledge I think, but any instructions will need it to be fairly straightforward.
Many thanks, Dawn.

You do need to be careful what you remove. Some of the bloatware can be quite useful. A program that enables extra features on the touchpad would be a good program to have.
How about when you get the machine you post what it's got on it by going to the "Add or Remove programs" app and list what it's got and you'll get an opinion on what to get rid of.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

after taking a back up , have a look at pc decrapifier http://www.pcdecrapifier.com/
always good to look at msconfig , to see what is starting with the machine , you can disable quite a lot , however you can rev enable if you make a !!!! up.
basically "most" PROGRAMS don't need to auto start , when you click on the proggy it will start ok , things like acrobat reader , nero etc can be subdued ,0 -
+1 for pcdecrapifer.
Also take a look at Should I Remove It?
And to help to avoid inadvertently downloading unwanted cr*p in future try Unchecky.0
