You will actually find part A listed at:
    http://www.planningportal.gov.uk/uploads/br/BR_PDF_AD_A_2013.pdf

I fail to see if the works are conducted under a permitted development or full planing application - the structual requirements are equally as important & also relevent.
Please kindly refer to this before offering further advice.

Your post was clearly referring to "a part a sign off". You now appear to be referring your post to a "Part A sign off." If this is now the case why did you not put this in your initial post? These are quite different situations.

If you do not know what you are asking advice on, or you do not know the terminology to adopt then this is why I have been suggesting that all such matters should be directed to your Legal Team members.

Judging by your frosty response in your final paragraph, and your previous post, I wonder if your Legal Team rub their hands with glee at dealing with your case.

You may not like my responses and this I can accept. However, my knowledge makes me qualified to comment on your situation. I wish you well with your case and am not surprised to hear that it has gone on for so long. I also foresee it going on for much longer.

If you can prove the work is defective and not to your party wall award, why are you sueing the council? Surely you should be seeking damages from your neighbour?

I am not sueing the council, but it is thier responsibility to issue a notice of compliance for building regulations. They won't do this because they say the works have been signed off which they have not been.

Sueing the neighbour is a completely different issue and the party wall surveyors will be doing this also as he has not paid for thier services. He did not pay the original surveyor back in 2009.
