Royal Mail site issues?

I've been trying to buy large letter 2nd class stamps now for weeks- the Royal Mail site just keeps looping me round when I try to check out- it is driving me crazy.

I've even tried buying them in a shop locally but no one seems to have any stock- it looks like I may have to spend 30 minutes or so queuing at the Post office.

Has anyone else managed to buy any stamps from Royal Mail online recently?

It's not just you. I tried to buy large letter second class postage for a non-ebay item on Tuesday, and went round in a loop. I wanted to print it out on a label, but it was having none of it. I tried telling it to print on paper instead, but it refused that, too. Just sent me back to the page with all check boxes blank as if I hadn't selected anything. In the end, I stuck two regular size second class stamps on it and hoped for the best

We buy ours from http://www.postofficeshop.co.uk/ We buy them in big numbers every so often so the £2.99 next day postage charge is not so bad (£1.99 for 3-5 day delivery). We started buying them online as our local post office use to complain about how many we used to buy. We offered to give them a week or two notice so they could buy them in but they weren't interested.

Viking Direct also do them in large numbers too but won't sell you them unless you buy something else.

The last time I had a similar problem of looping with RM's site, I tried accessing it through a different browser and it worked fine. I normally use Chrome but switched to IE for RM (and only use IE for RM now)
