Hello...
I need some advice please. I have added a New child to my current cliam and i have updated child care costs .
When should i get a payment? I was used to be getting a backpayment the next week but i am not sure anymore because the advisor told me that i shall not phone for two Weeks.

Do you not have to show details of the child's registration - or birth certificate?
Surely you cannot just add another name to a claim without proof of that child's existence?0 -
You don't have to provide a birth certificate as long as you've applied for child benefit. I spent ages on the phone trying to add my baby son's details onto my claim, and their system was down or something. The man told me to write to them! It's been two weeks now and I've still heard nothing.
If you haven't applied for child benefit yet, you might have to send tax credits some proof. CB can be backdated 3 months, CTC can be backdated one month.
