Balance transfer

Hi I've been offered a good transfer rate from my barclaycard so I have transferered the balance from my Debenhams storecard to my barclaycard. The money came out of the barclaycard on 14th July but it's not showing on Debenhams account. Any ideas why or is this normal thanks

Any balance transfers I have done before have come off the new card on day 1 and have been reflected on the online statement of the old card by day 3.

8 working days does seem a bit excessive. I would contact Barclaycard and confirm the card number that you had originally given them. Check this number against your d'hams card to make sure it correct. Call d'hams to see if there is any reason why they are not applying the payment to your account.
