A "just in case" query.

Reading the threads about foreigners having to pay back NHS charges has just raised a "what if" query in my mind.
My grand-daughter (age 15) is British, of British parentage (My DD and SiL are both Essex born & bred
) - but GD was born in Tokyo and now lives with parents in CT, USA. She is coming over to stay with me for a month at the beginning of August (next week!) and, being a teenager, will be doing the teenage things with her cousins who live over here ...which, knowing my family as I do, could include a trip or two to A & E.
Obviously her parents pay for all and any medical treatment she needs in the USA, and she will have travel insurance - so in the event that we do have to include a trip to local A & E do I just inform whoever has to treat her that she doesn't live here permanently or proffer my credit card for initial treatment?

Sailing, skateboarding, cycling, riding, barbeques and general messing about always equal a hossy-trip - at least one per holiday period - and funnily enough 'twas ever thus when her mum and brothers & cousins were the same age!0 -

However, if you are referred to an outpatient clinic or admitted to hospital from an accident and emergency department, you will be charged0
