Barclaycard misreporting on credit file = £400 gesture of goodwill!

Finally some good news to share!
Checked my experian credit file to find that Barclaycard were misreporting my current situation with them. I have no credit facilities with them, am winding down my account as my Payplan comes to a close. Barclaycard were reporting I had an £1100 credit facility available to me and had a balance of £150 - the outstanding balance bit was true but as in a DMP I've (understandably) not been able to use the card.
I called to complain that they were misreporting on my credit file. They made me an offer to clear the balance and close my account - great! If they'd actually done that!
Next thing I know I have an email to say I'd missed my monthly payment and a late payment marker had been applied to my account - furious doesn't even come close!
To cut a very long story short, after numerous calls and unkept promises I now have a £400 gesture of goodwill winging its way to me
