Hi, has any one got info on any bank or similar that I could transfer to and receive free or low cost worldwide (USA, Canada) travel insurance.
HSBC offer it for up to 70yrs but not beyond, presumably they expect my wife & I to stay at home and knit when we (in the near future) reach that age.

Hi,
Where are you travelling to and for how long? Do you have any health conditions?
I have written a guide for canadian seniors travel insurance
This should help you get the best coverage at the best price.
You can compare the plans and costs of canadian travel insurance0 -
LloydsTSB Gold Service [and above] current account travel insurance covers up to 80yrs of age but does require disclosure of pre-existing conditions:
All cover will cease when you reach 80 years of age/cease to be a UK resident or cancel your Gold Service current account. Please see the travel insurance terms and conditions for full details.
About half way down THIS page.
I think there is a £10pm charge for these "great benefits" and you must pay in £1000+ per month but more details HERE. My MIL used it until she was 80, had at least 1, possibly 2 claims in her 70's which were paid with no drama.
