I've been Money Tipped!

Hey guys, good morning. A nice day! But a nice day doesn’t mean a new day to me since I have been plagued by the DVR kit issue from yesterday.
What has teased my mind ever since yesterday is the replacement of my home surveillance dvr kits.
There we go. I need to first of all apologize to @lee8040 for my recommendation in his/her thread . Believe it or not, it’s rly ridiculous that I suggested lee8040 to use my type of dvr the day before yesterday and my dvr just refused to work yesterday afternoon. You have no idea what’s the feeling like at that moment. I have reset the set top box, reset the external hard drive, given both ample time to reboot, but nothing change. With no warranty, we have decided to buy a new one to replace it since repairing bill can cost lots of bucks and repair efforts usually turn out to be useless.

My goal is simple as the following:
1. Two cameras (indoors or outdoors can be OK)with high resolution and good night vision(able to catch the car number plate at night).
2. Support remote viewing and alarm alert via computer or smart phones.
3. Provide warranty as far as possible, both purchase or free supply can be OK.
4. Budget lower than £200.

Up to now I have already gotten two options after selecting from lots of dvr kits.
Amazon again (ex-dvr brought from this website) offers some decent dvr kits like FLOUREON 4chanel 960H CCTV DVR video surveillance recorder with 2x 900TVL outdoor bullet cameras at good price (also free delivery in UK) VS Newegg has GW surveillance CCTV kit with 4 channel 960H D1 DVR and 2 Camera Security System 650 TVL(also one year warranty).

I also looked at Swann but realized that lee8040 has once mentioned its flaw in his/her thread.

Can you pls give inputs into what would be your thought process in selecting a surveillance dvr kit with the above mentioned. Also with this type of a dvr kit, how to protect it with routine maintenance. And one last question (pardon me, may sound silly), would it make any differences to choose a inexpensive one?

Thanks a million for your time and effort.

Delia

Seems that no expert can help you, poor man. What a long story! But I still haven't figured out what you are asking abt. Do you wanna know something abt home security system or just wanna figure out GW cctv kit, Floureon cctv dvr kit which one is better?
    Better alone than badly accompanied.
