Help with changing elderly parents suppliers

I switched to EDF last September, and I’m well impressed with their customer service. But they’re no better than the others at making it easy to find out their prices. How recently did you check to find out whether your gran is still on EDF’s cheapest tariff? The tariffs change from week to week or month to month, but the tariff ‘names’ are always very similar. It’s deliberately designed to confuse and discourage.I switched my gran to EDF on a good tariff of theirs at the time. Registered with them that she was elderly, and they've been brilliant at sending someone out every quarter to read the meter. She doesn't have the internet, so I do all her account management for her.
Every quarter, they send a message stating a time and date they'll be around to read the meter, and I just relay that on. She seems happy, as her meter is awkward to access even for myself!mad mocs - the pavement worrier0 -

I've been dealing with a £14million energy budget, so pretty tapped into the markets! Monitoring it once a month at least.0 -
Do you happen to know a simple way to find out the details of any particular domestic Tariff Information Label without having to wade through all the marketing stuff about estimated usage, previous energy tariffs, preferred method of payment etc etc?I've been dealing with a £14million energy budget, so pretty tapped into the markets!mad mocs - the pavement worrier0 -
People go on about pensioners being poor and with shrinking pensions so they should switch to DD to save money. Heh.
I've yet to see a poor pensioner to be honest. All the pensioners in my family get by with no problems, always paying bills the same day they come in and basically never go without anything.
Same can be said about the the pensioners propping up the bars in the local social clubs I frequent too.0
