Medion laptop owners

I'm considering buying a medion laptop and would like comments/opinions from anyone who has used medion laptops/PCs. I phoned up customer tech support yesterday, and I wasn't impressed with their customer service. Their products are reasonably priced, but cheap can be expensive in the long term. So can anyone please tell me how reliable are their products? I think they're a German owned company with a possibility that Lenovo could be buying them out. Lenovo is already a major share holder. Is that good or bad?

I hated my Medion multimedia desktop.
It was being advertised as "ultra quiet", but in fact was extremely noisy because of the noisy Seagate HDD mounted to the metal chassis that resonated the permanent clicking sound. What I blamed Medion for was selecting this noisy HDD for their "ultra quiet" PC and then, when I queried this, replying:
Who cares about "wisper quiet" fan if other components are very noisy?the HDD supplied has whats known as a large platter, this causes clicking/vibration noises as it locates the data over said disk. The unit is indeed whisper quiet as the entire unit is based on passive cooling but noise from HDD activity will be exempt.0 -

Clearly shows how easy it is for customers to be mislead. I had my suspicions yesterday following my call to their tech dept, the guy I was talking to had no customer etiquette and I thought his tech knowledge was of a very low standard. I had better service from the sales guys at Currys.
. I think I'll go with a more mainstream make 0 -
Quick question: do you have an old computer (laptop or desktop) with an XP license sticker on it? (preferably working)?
If so, trade it in for £150 and get £75 cashback. Sorry if I sound like a salesman...this HP business (but budget) laptop is £115 and includes 3 years warranty.
