savings accounts for non uk residents

Im currently living outside the uk. Is there any sites that give you a list of Uk savings accounts that are available to non Uk residents or does anyone know of the institutes offering the best rates at the mo

It is difficult / nigh on impossible to open any UK onshore account if you cannot provide proof of a UK residential address. If you can, it should be easy enough but you might have to pop into a branch with ID even if you are an actual UK resident.
