    See post #43.

Yes, it proves nothing per se; but in the absence of obvious flaws to the story ...

No flaws to my story - just the way that people can only interpret based on their own personal experiences. Their own map of the world constricts them to believe only what's on their map - not on my map of the world - mine's obviously a touch bigger in some areas - not in others!

Not 'apparently' - Started at 18 with a 924, then 944 Cab, then Robbie Savages old 993 C2, then F355 Spider.

I'm running round in crappy cars because I'm saving to pay off the mortgage. Quite simple! I don't see why I should get debted up to my eye-balls just to be constantly paying huge amount of interest back. Once you've had a few nice toys it's been done. Don't get me wrong, I'd rather have them back but I'm more motivated to be completely debt free.

    No debt = freedom!

Kids didn't make me downgrade, the credit-crunch and greedy banks made me! I lost a lot now I'm trying to get it back.

I carry no shame in that!

I don't understand. From what you are saying I'm guessing you use to work in the financial sector and you were made redundant? Or were you always living in debt, buying luxury cars like Porsche/Ferrari you really didn't have the money for?

Who cares? The thread is about the issues he's having with those cars. Why he chooses those cars instead of the supercars he used to drive is his business.

Thanks - I'm used to the green eyed monster TBH. In the Mazda I'm invisible! I've been thrown plenty of abuse in the Ferrari - I was even spat on once while sat as some traffic lights. I can take a bit of 'arm-chair' insults.

See, speculation yet again. You're right, you don't understand.

Why were you spat at? You don't usually see Ferrari's on the road that much so they can't really have any sort of negative reputation as do BMW's etc. E92 M3 and Ferrari 355 would be a good contest...

It was always 50/50 in the Ferrari. Half the people would want to talk to you and have nothing but good things to say, the other half would call you all the names under the sun and, like I said, have such an issue of jealousy that they have to try and gain power back by spitting on you.

I loved the Ferrari but it was a target to every boy racer out there. Once, I was driving up a straight when this crappy G-reg nova came right up my backside - I knocked it down a couple of gears and floored it - the Nova put his foot down and blew me out of the water - it flew past me.

But you still aren't answering the question. Why were you spat at? Surely you must have done something?

And how can a G reg Nova beat your Ferrari?
