Buyer opened case then immediately closed it?!

Buyer gave me feedback on an item weeks ago- then opened a case yesterday saying just "please send me my money back" !!
Buyer immediately closed case. Will I get a defect for this?

    Yep, great isn't it (not)

You could try appealing to ebay.

  • I've a buyer who has left me the following feedback "Really quick postage, item just as described, highly recommended!!" They've left a low star for item as described. Is it worth appealing to eBay?

On that one I would- but I wouldn't hold my breath on ebay doing anything.

Recently buyer opened a case then immediately closed it because she could not find my contact details and that was the only way she could think of doing it?!
    And I kept the defect...

Sometimes, I have buyers click buy it now, then pay, then click buy it now, on and on, for each item they want instead of adjusting the "quantity" button. It adds 20p PayPal fee extra for each further item. One guy did this and then noticed doing this had charged him extra postage so wanted to cancel them. I cancelled all the orders and explained how to do it correctly wiuth the basket, but he did the same again. It made a right mess of my selling page, I was well and truly peed off, and I blocked him.
