empty folders

Options
2 machines on win 10 , cannot see each other on a network


other devices such as nas drives are see able , however when you click (file explorer/ network/) the other machine is there but just displays "empty folder"


any thoughts?

    Have you set up any folder shares on the PCs?

    All set up to same workgroup?

    Folders actually shared on each system?

    Firewall?

    Does the router block wireless devices from seeing each other? (quite common)

    home group now created , access now in both directions ,
