    It did get taxed a couple of weeks after i was supposed to pick it up, strange that!

    Your going to have to take him to court. Letter Before Action though.
    Use money claim online for ease.

    Unfortunately £100, even plus any expenses, is below the threshold for referral to the High Court, which is £600.

    My suggestion was that OP would know that it had been sold to someone else (for a higher price?) as has been suggested and not damaged and impounded. Did miss the fact about tax but if it had been impounded, would the seller not have SORNed it straight away?
