Aldi-Parking Eye

Hi,
Back in late June I received a parking invoice from Parking Eye after over staying my welcome by 26 mins due to locking my keys in the boot of my car. The letter was sent to a previous address so we didn't get it until the 4th July. I wrote back the next day explaining the situation. I haven't heard anything in response to my appeal, I have only received a notice saying we now have to pay £70! We no longer have our Aldi receipt but we have witnesses who are happy to testify. What should we do?

PE have 35 days to respond to an appeal , assuming they received it
it would have been better to have appealed on their website, unless you received free proof of postage at the PO ?
also complain to aldi , receipt or not , especially if you have bank statements showing payments on the day or regular patronage anyway
if you dont ask , you dont get0
