Hopefully you have been spared the "charade" "medical" they may have looked at further evidence you have sent and decided a "medical" is not needed.
As long as you have it in writing that they have cancelled it i would sit back and wait for their next move, dont contact them.

It is not a medical, it has never been called a medical.

In this situation it usually means that an assessor has reviewed the file and decided there is sufficient information for the claimant to be placed in one of the main phase groups. If you have not heard anything within two weeks call back - don't leave it indefinitely as, if there has been an error, the first you will know of it is when the payments stop.

Still on the assessment rate since 2013! Something seriously wrong there. Initial assessments have been taking many months but that is ridiculous. There is a potential payment of over £2k if you are finally put into either the WRAG or Support Group. That money would be better in your pocket than that of the DWP. You could try sending in a formal complaint letter to DWP which might kick things into action. Alternatively, get on to your local MP before they swan off on holiday again.

I've been on assessment rate Esa since April last year. Haven't heard anything about my. Wca . It's outrageous that people are waiting this long. I will be contacting my mp ASAP.
