I want to downgrade my BT package

I want to downgrade my BT package, because times are hard !!
I had a phone call with one of the operatives and they tell me it's not possible to downgrade, however my contract has ended or is about to end.
I currently have fibre broadband, Infinity 1 package with BT, unlimited broadband, no phone calls included, and I pay £5 for the BT TV package. My total monthly bill is £46 and I would really like to cut this right down.
I'd still want the unlimited broadband but I don't need phone calls, and I'm thinking of buying a freeview box instead for the tv as it isn't included on my television set.
It's all so confusing, can anyone recommend a decent option that would bring my monthly costs down but still give me unlimited broadband??
(I'd be happy with no phone at all as I only get PPI calls at teatime !!)
Any advice is much appreciated

Do you need BT Sport ??
Your contract does not end it just moves to a 30 day rolling contract >30 days notice .
It has been said on here that you can resign to BT and get the new users offers the day after you exit your BT contract .
If you are not paying the extra for the phone calls then that a saving you already have .
So it would be Line Rental plus broadband and no TV .0
