Hi everyone,
My husband works for a catering company in Scotland,he works on an oilrig in Denmark he has been there for 4 years. He started with the company 10 1/2 years ago working on different rigs as needed then got a permanent contract in Denmark.
He had a consultation meeting today and his job will come to an end in October. They have told us Denmark don't pay redundancy,we looked at his contract and it only mentions layoffs. All the workers on the rig have said no one told them Denmark don't pay redundancy.i was wondering if anyone here has experience of this.thanks
