WBAC is pretty much trade value. And the prices are set just below what the vehicle would fetch at Auction. And they are much fairer than the old adverts in the back of magazines and now local newspapers from people that buy any car and come to you.

WBAC bid significantly below trade value, and then try to chip you back from there when they see the car.
Their margins arent big but auction price "tends" to be below trade price, and WBAC will be significantly below that.0 -

I once got stopped by the Police for being in a stolen car. After lots of grumbling and phone calls by them it turned out that the car had been broken into and items stolen. The dimwit insurance company had logged it as the car beibng stolen.0
