Hi, I'm not sure if this is the correct forum for my question, but none of the others seemed quite righ either.
I bought a mini PC from an Amazon seller (in China), which arrived without a genuine copy of Windows on it.
After some Dialogue, and attempts to instal a genuine copy I returend it to the seller for a full refund (including return postage) to the address they provided.
Today, several months on, it came back to me again, uncollected by the seller.
Do I have any responsibility to try to return it again and can I be charged a second time if I don't?

Have you got your money back?:footie:Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

Update:
I just spoke to a former Consumer Direct adviser, who told me that since I returned it (and have proof that I did so) And that it was the seller who did not collect it, I can consider it a gift.0 -

You don't pay again. You just say the item's come back if you can organize a courier to pick it up I'll hand it over. They won't.:footie:Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)

Isn't that after you've informed the seller and given them a reasonable period of time to collect...but yes I'd consider it a gift if you've got your money back.

My Consumer Direct contact (Wife) agrees. She called me back to say pretty much the same thing. Give them an oportunity to arange collecction, but tell them that if this is not done wthin 14 days that I will consider it a gift.0 -

Ubuntu's fine if you just want a load of pre-installed apps and don't want to customise or change anything. Otherwise it's a bloated, confusing mess. There are much better GNU/Linux distros, in my opinion.
It's definitely worth trying a few distros to see which one suits you best.0
