minimum pay-in

Hi - for bank account with a minimum pay-in requirement - is there a limit as to how long the minimum pay-in amount has to stay (e.g. overnight) or can I withdraw it out the moment it's deposited?

Thanks

Much more information needed. You can have a balance of £9.99 deposit 1 penny over the counter then go the cash machine and withdraw £10 straight away.

If you're talking about those current accounts that require monthly funding you can withdraw that straight away. There is no need to keep it there longer than necessary.
    :footie:
:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p

Indeed you can. Or you can pay in say £500, withdraw, pay in £500, withdraw, pay in £500, withdraw, pay in £250, withdraw all on the same day, or spread over several days if you wish.

I'd advise you to keep it as simple as possible though;)

Especially when that would leave him £750 overdrawn ;)
