Faulty Laptop - seller refusing to allow return for repair

Hi,
bought an expensive (£400+) laptop from Ebay (never again!). When it arrived at end of March it was faulty - emailed seller to say I was going way on holiday, and they told me to get in touch when I got back.
Unfortunately after the holiday my life got very busy very quickly, including moving house, and so the laptop issue didn't get addressed again until end of June (I know, I know!). I figured I would still be okay due to Sale of Goods Act, however seller is now ignoring emails.
Raised a paypal claim requesting laptop be returned for repair or refunded, but this was rejected. I know I still have rights under SOGA, but not sure how best to exercise them? Seller is a business (username is a Ltd company), but at present all I have for them is an email address and they are ignoring all correspondence.
The laptop has been barely used (I can count on one hand the number of times I have used it since it was bought) due to the fault (won't reliably turn on - sometimes, even when it's plugged in, it acts as if the battery is totally dead).
Any suggestions?

When you say it was a proper company do they have any warranty information that this may fall under? You are absolutely right about the sales of goods act goods must be of satisfactory qualify (as assessed by a reasonable person, bearing in mind the items are second-hand), as described by the seller and fit for purpose. If it's arrived faulty and the seller didn't state the fault then its not as described.
Can you appeal the claim with paypal? It may be best to get in contact with them first and try speaking to them rather than through the online process - failing that you'd have to go down the legal route i.e sending LBA's ( https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/consumer/taking-action-about-consumer-problems/legal-action/going-to-court/taking-court-action/Problems-with-goods---letter-before-court-action/ )0 -

All ebay listings by business sellers include an address. Check again.0 -
Tried a claim with paypal - but didn't think to speak to them first, so paypal found in sellers favour?
Will look again on Ebay and try and find sellers address.0
