Toshiba satellite c850 laptop replacement screen/lid

The screen has got all lines on it with a dark black line -looks liked a cracked screen underneath the glass? Is this lid/screen repairable by me or do I need to buy a new laptop? Thanks.

Go onto Toshiba's site. I think they do have live chat section. They can advise you. They should know if the part you need is available and where.
