Not so if you are married live where I grew up and have a couple of kids and rent privately earn £20k you would get nearly £18k in benefits plus your wages. This does include £5k of WTC which is being reduced.0 -
We get the max cash which is 13.6k with 3 kids 2 adults 1 working more than 30 hours. Sadly we don't qualify for free school meals or council tax benefit. But we do get free prescriptions and 50% off school music lessons.I think....0

That seems way too much. Give or take you get my income tax. I live on my own with 1 son. Why should my hard work fund you not to work.

The majority of benefits in my example is housing benefit at £10k0 -
