Nationwide Refusing to Shut Down Account

    I have been calm otherwise I would have chased them from the beginning.

    The reason the card was not closed is because Nationwide decided not to action my request as a remedial action to the formal complaint - it seems they can't understand that when someone no longer wants to be their customer they must legally allow them to do so.

    They have now claimed they have paid me compensation of £100 due to the the inconvenience they have caused me. They haven't.

    So as far as I'm concerned I would be recommending that people have nothing to do with Nationwide as their staff play games to avoid closing accounts.
    I'm not cynical I'm realistic :p

    (If a link I give opens pop ups I won't know I don't use windows)
