Its Still got 8GB of RAM, its just using it, remember Windows and any program you have running (even the Task manager to monitor the usage) needs to be in RAM too.

When it comes to a PC, empty RAM is wasted RAM!

It might look like it's missing, but the PC is making good use of the RAM to make things run smoother..
