Android tablet playing up.

For some reason when I turn the tablet on, it just comes up with 'Android' and does nothing. I love my tablet not sure what is wrong. On the side there is a small hole saying ' reset' and I have tried to do that but still nothing.
Any suggestions, most appreciated.

Usually with Android you can press and hold the power button and volume button to go into the boot menu and reset from there:
