We are currently taking our landlord to court through moneyclaimonline for not returning our deposit. If by any chance he should win (which is very doubtful) would that mean we would have a ccj-when asked by credit card companies etc? or is this a different ccj??-it seems very unfair if we would have.

I would think that if he wins and you don't owe him any more money (you may have to pay his costs as well) then you won't get a ccj.
That sounds right, but you never know.
Maybe someone more knowledgable will come along and say different.

if a court tells you to pay money and you do so within the set number of days which the court specified, you will not have a country court judgment recorded against you. if you do not pay within the specified period you will have a CCJ.0
