Ok.... Just spoken to(Text removed by MSE Forum Team) the Reginal facilities manager for Chichester Gate.... Apparently 4 hours is ample time to spend at this venue and he cannot or will not contact parking eye on my behalf. I should have seen the signs and left. Apparently it's up to parking eye whether they put in keypads in all venues, which they have not. Very frustrated now!0

4 hours isn't enough if you're visiting a cinema, even if you don't eat before/after.
I hope you told him that he's lost a customer. I'd also demand they cancel it in writing, then appeal to Parking Eye as described in the newbies thread.0 -
He won't do anything, he also implied I'm a liar! Which he back tracked on when questioned, said I could have gone elsewhere so my word against his!
I've already appealed to parking eye and they rejected it, now have to go through POPLA0 -

Perhaps some postings of the Facebook and Twitter pages of the likes of Cineworld, Frankie and Benny's and other users of the Leisure Park advising their customers of the views of the facilities manager and the dangers of outstaying the "welcome" of the park might be in order?0 -
Next step is to have a go at the letting agents and see what clout they have - also to ask who the landowners are and how to contact them - there are 2 agents:
Cushman and Wakfield

Well guys, thank you for your advice. Today I received a letter from PE to say my parking charge has been cancelled and I have nothing to pay.
This happened as last week I contacted Matt Ashman letting agent for Chichester Gate, he then contacted the landowner and Parking manager, asking for their help. The parking manager then contacted PE to get it cancelled, on this occasion, as I was a genuine customer. Happy days!
The reason why PE had not cancelled at my appeal with them was because in their view I had not spent enough money that day, to make up for the extra 52 minutes!Bit harsh as its a regular place myself and family attend.
The parking manager asked me to be vigilant to time next time I visit lol. So it's def worth going to the top!0 -
Keep a copy of the paperwork for the next time you get caught out too0
