ie it's 20kg for BOTH bags, not each...
Yes, as I said the baggage weight limit is 20kg in TOTAL, for most airlines the limit is 46kg in total. One large well loaded suitcase is usually 20kg, so weigh it if you want to avoid surcharges.0 -

Yes, indeed.
Can you believe same time last year BA was offering £150 inc for a return flight to NY....I booked a pair of tickets to Miami for £400 in the same offer - £200 each inc....
These prices won't be seen for a long long time....if ever.
Thanks the OP for letting us know the offer. Rise above it, don't get worked up by unappreciative people.
Good' ole days...0 -

Most budget airlines (which I'd class Zoom as since they're offering such cheap flights) are 20KG per passenger......0 -
OK, I HAVE used Zoom many times to Canada, They are a Canadian airline that have been around for several years. The service on board is somewhere between UK holiday charters (Thomson, MyTravel etc...) and a 'full service' airline like BA or Virgin. Food and soft drinks included, booze and headsets charged for. They use 767s with an adequate if not generous seat pitch. (I am 6"2 and I was OK). They show films on a big screen, no seat back PTVs.
The Premium cabin is quite good value, 5 inches more leg room, free booze and headsets, a greater choice of meals and 10KGs extra baggage allowance. Looking at this offer it seams you can mix and match and you can upgrade on the way back for only an extra £30, this is well worth it.
As for the BA offer this time last year remember it was an error (travel shop discount added to sale fare). Damn shame it ain't likely to happen again, my only regret is only being able to afford one trip!0 -

Anyone thinking of booking there is a discount code for Zoom Airlines - Quote 'Up to 20% on all Zoom Airlines flights.
Excludes tax
Discount valid until December 31, 2007
I think that this has been posted on the discount codes forum, if not pm me.0 -
Just booked to New York - Thanks to OP
I have previously flown with Zoom to Toronto and found the whole experiece to be excellent, better in some ways to Air Canada
I am sure the 20kg limit applies only applies to checked in luggage though, you still get your 5kg hand baggage allowance extra. which as far as the last 4 flights i've been on is more than enoughBe ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0 -
Hi, quite a few people emailed me for the discount code so for ease I have just posted it again on the discounts codes forum, sorry, but I am not sure how to post the link to it here.0
