Just to reiterate what Ben84 said, there is no central "Asbestos Register" that I am aware of, and it would be dangerous for anyone to think they did not have / could not have asbestos in their home on the basis of the address's non-inclusion on any such list.

In my professional life I have come across many an Asbestos Register, but these are documents covering specific buildings. You could pay a surveyor to produce an asbestos register for your house if you wanted to. If you did, I am certain of one thing - even if they didn't find any they would include a disclaimer saying there could be some they'd missed!
