Looking to go away next year. Possibly somewhere in Spain. 2 adults 3 children. Looking to pay a deposit now. What are the best websites to get the best deals.

BA do flight+hotel/car which can be good, but they tend to fly from London airports with the IBZ flight from EDI. Otherwise it's Thomson, Thomas Cook, Cosmos and Jet2.
If you can fly from other airports that have different school holidays to your children then package hols can be cheaper.
Where in the UK are you?Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -
We're in Portsmouth and it will be during the school holidays.0

The last 7 or 8 holidays I've booked have all been with Travel Republic. You'll have to pay the flights in full (and any extras such as airport parking, transfers, etc) but they only require a £1 deposit on the accommodation at the time of booking.0

I am in Fareham and have used the train to get to Gatwick, definitely worth considering.
I'd also recommend looking at BA and selecting Flight and Hotel, we went to Malta in May with BA. You'll need to get a transfer yourself, so check out resorthoppa type websites for that......0 -

I'm in Gosport, and always get the train from Fareham to LGW too.
Book online in advance with Southern Rail, and you can usually get single tickets in either direction for £5 or £8. They'll post the tickets to you for free, or print them at the station.0 -
when are you thinking of going? What are you wanting to see / do? Location wise Barcelona or Valencia are both lovely cities with beaches and things to do. There's also the Canary islands (you can travel from Gran Canaria to Tenerife for the day) - have booked to go there next year through Jet2holidays. They have deposit and pay by instalments (however much you like as long as the Balance is paid a few months before you fly). Can also book meals, seats and transfers included. Been a few trips with Jet2holidays and always been good so worth a look perhaps?0
