This I find incredibly sad in a modern age, I guess it was the pre-tax credit era.
Where I live though, even now there only seems 2 ways to work in a part-time office role, one is work in the public sector which seems to offer more flexibility than the private sector, the other is re-negotiate after maternity leave.0
