PCN for driving in a bus lane

I have just been issued a PCN for driving in a bus lane when I only temporarily did so to allow a car on the opposite side of the road to drive around a bus stopped at a bus stop.
In the pictures they have included in the PCN letter you can clearly see that the car that is coming towards me is going around a stopped bus, therefore involving them driving on my side of the road to do so. As soon as the car passed, I then moved out of the bus lane into the normal carriageway. Do I have grounds to challenge this?
On top of this, I am moving abroad to Singapore in 3 weeks time, so if it drags on past this point, it'll be extremely hard for me to deal with. Playing devil's advocate... Let's say I completely ignored the PCN altogether and moved away. Could they catch up with me? The car is now sold and we will be moving away for several years. Is this likely to catch up with me when I do eventually come back to the UK?
So, 2 questions really... 1. Do I have grounds to challenge it? And 2. If I completely ignore the whole thing what is the worst that can happen? This is one extra hassle I really don't need in the middle of an already stressful and time consuming move!
Any advice much appreciated!!

pepipoo.com are the experts on traffic offences. This site deals predominantly with private parking events.
Read the FAQs and scan redacted copies of the paperwork before posting your query. I would have thought you had a good chance, but pepipoo are better suited to deal with this.I married my cousin. Thanks for your advice, I did wonder whether I was in the correct place but after a couple of google searches on the matter, the only related searches that came up was this forum.
Thanks, fingers crossed!0 -
You may dodge it by the 20 metre rule! Pepipoo is the best place for this.0
