PCN received outside my home from Park Direct

Options
Hi All,

Today I received a PCN whilst parking in my allocated parking bay outside my home. I say today, but it was issued at just after midnight!

My parking permit was dated the end of last month and I was waiting for the housing association to send me a new one.

Where do I stand on this? It seems unfair that I was parked in my allocated bay, and because I haven't been sent a new permit, I get a ticket!

Is this PCN actually legal, i.e. do I have to pay it?

Thanks in advance.

If the HA are a registered charity, complain to the Charities Commission about the appointment of this most uncharitable of companies to harass and threaten hard working families.

Copy the letter to the HA and the local Housing Officer accompanied by a strong complaint. Also, post the letter on the communal notice board.

Forward A COPY of the notice to the HA and demand they deal with it. Don't take any s**t from them, this is entirely their doing and you should not have to be inconvenienced in any way because of their incompetence (and tell them that, too).

I wish it was that easy Mr. Tove. I have a former HA property, (TVHA). Without doubt they are the worst property managers I have had to deal with in 40 years of renting out properties.
