Being Charged for Meter Change

OVO were supposed to turn up for the meter change last week but no-one arrived. I called and was not given a reason why. I was promised compensation for the missed appointment (wife waited in all day) but this has not materialised.
Now to add salt to the wounds they have emailed me saying they cannot attend the rearranged appointment "due to a heavy workload", Totally useless.
I think I will have to return to British Gas and get them to change the meter for me. At least they tend to appear when they say. *Usually*0
