Tesco question

I recently opened a Tesco Current Account which comes with a Debit Card that doubles as a Clubcard.

My question is does anyone know if it is possible to register the Clubcard on the Clubcard site so that you can see the points status of the card as you can do with an ordinary ClubCard?

You can get the clubcards linked up so they all work with just the one account. I think you need to call them to do it though. I remember it being very easy and quick to do.

I don't know for certain (I use a better cashback card at Tesco), but since you can register a Tesco credit card and see those points separately I'd say it was possible to do the same with their debit card.

Maybe give them a call tomorrow/Monday?

Sorry to hijack your thread but I just applied for one of these accounts and I'm wondering if you have to hand the card over to be scanned like a normal club card or you just get the points when you put it in the chip and pin machine?

Just get them when using the chip and pin machine.

Tell them you just want the points on that card - then use any card you like to pay for the goods.

I did not realise this was available.

If you find yourself in the Self Service Lane pop your card into the reader; it'll come up 'Clubcard Accepted.' A prompt will appear on the screen asking if you wish to pay using the card or use another method.
