Sky HD problems

Upgraded to sky HD a couple of weeks ago. I am not very technical so apologise if I am not using right technical words.

It's now attached to the internet so we can use interactive services however ever since there's been interference on the phone line and anyone trying to ring gets an engaged tone. Phone line is with sky along with broadband.

Rung them and they suggested a filter on the line we have done but that hasn't done anything. Have spent 40 minutes on hold today to speak to them and not getting anywhere.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Post some photos of the phone socket and any telephone adapter and leads and the back of your HD box.

sometimes (not so often these days, but was quite common early on) you may need to double-filter the phone (wall) socket...do you have the sky box also plugged into the phone line? Shouldn't need that now if you've got sky box connected to the router...as above, post pics if poss...
