Bank charges - advice on next step please

Hi please could someone advise me on what to do next.
I applied on behalf of my son to reclaim his bank charges for the past 6 years with Santander.
I used the financial hardship template letter and the bank has replied straight away.
It states ....Whilst the fees have been applied to your account correctly, I have forwarded this case for a further review to our Financial Support Team.
We are able to offer you a gesture of goodwill, to assist you with your fees. To discuss this further ...phone/write...etc etc....
What do I do now??
Thanks in advance

Contact them as they say to discuss though they will probably only talk to your son due to "Data Protection" etc. (unless your son has already given the bank authority to deal with you on his behalf). Just don't expect too much, I doubt they are going to give him 6 years charges back.0

As above, unlikely to get 6 years charges refunded as the banks won the "unfair" charges court case. If your son is in current financial hardship, they may come to some agreement to reduce current interest charges or perhaps refund the past 6 months charges. You wont know until you (or your son) contacts them0

I thought that the court only said that the OFT didn't have authority to make a ruling? AFAIK you can still go to the FSA...
Can't you do them for PPI instead?0
